David Hauser, Founder, Owner and Design Principal of Urban Purpose Design, has been a part of the building industry for over 10 years. David attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, receiving his BFA-Architecture and M-Arch with honors. After graduating from SCAD, David worked as principal designer and project manager for Whole House Studios for 5 years, having an integral role in high end residential projects from conception to completion. 

 

Upon leaving Whole House Studios, David focused on the formulation and founding of Urban Purpose Design in Atlanta. David's wears many hats at Urban Purpose, from  designer and business owner, to construction project manager. He thrives on a challenge and enjoys every aspect of the development, architecture, design, and construction industry.

Michelle Mills, Interior Designer with Good Haus, has over 7 years’ experience in the design-build industry. Michelle has experience in both the residential and commercial sectors having worked for HDR Engineering, The Haskell Company, Ryland Home, KB Home and ME Davis Design.

Michelle’s design presentation to Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles and the Georgia Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) for The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta Design Competition was awarded top ten finalist out of hundreds of entries. 

 

A jack of many trades, Michelle’s varied experience also includes 2 years as a project manager for The Advantage Group and several years’ experience in consulting roles.

Michelle graduated from the University of North Florida receiving BBAs in Marketing and Business Management.  Michelle is also bilingual in Spanish and English and a certified language interpreter.

Julie Kim, Interior Designer/Project Manager with Urban Purpose Design, has been enamored with design since childhood. Born in Korea, raised in Thailand, and earning her interior design bachelor's degree in Savannah College of Art and Design, she strives to use her multi-cultural background to elevate the interior experience through visual storytelling.

 

With interest in design for sustainability and user experience, she continues to expand her knowledge by continuing her education. Julie is an accredited LEED green associate and graduated with a minor in design for sustainability. Her previous work experience includes commercial interior design projects and multiple collaboration projects across the greater design industry.
